Indie rock band Zillionaire was formed in Tampa, FL, in 2004 by Heath Dupras after his tenure in the Washdown. Dupras switched from drums to guitar and vocals in what was intended originally as a guitar/drums duo with drummer Keith Ulrey, formerly of Pohgoh. But the two ended up enlisting two more ex-members of the Washdown, guitarist/singer Michael Waksman and bassist Bryan Bates. The quartet was signed by New Granada Records, which released their debut album, The Street Lights Have Been Turned Down, on January 15, 2008.
