Irene Green was a founder member of the 60s group the Liver Birds, although she soon teamed up with the Four Dimensions to become Tiffany’s Dimensions. As the publicity of the time would have it, Tiffany’s dimensions were 37-23-36. Tiffany’s Dimensions did well but the band fell apart when the van containing all their equipment and stage clothes was stolen in Glasgow, Scotland. Tiffany cut a solo single with record producer George Martin and then formed a new group, Tiffany’s Thoughts. The first single, appropriately enough, was called ‘Am I Dreaming?’. Jimmy Clark (bass, vocal) and Mike Easthope (drums) re-formed the Dimensions and they cut ‘Tears On My Pillow’, also with George Martin. Clark had a remarkable voice, similar to Karl Denver’s, but he missed out on success.
