Based out of Long Island, the Reunion Show formed in 2000 after lead singer Mark Thomas and drummer Skully left Step Lively. Adding former members of Waiting Process and Edna's Goldfish, the group began rehearsing in the New York area. Taking the name from a conversation in La Crosse, WI, the Reunion Show immediately began touring in the tri-state area and eventually throughout the United States. In 2002, the Reunion Show -- also comprising guitarist Derrick Sherman and vocalist/bassist Brian Diaz -- released their debut EP, The Motion, through Law of Inertia; they signed to Victory Records in May of that year as well.
