Raised in Riga, Latvia, harpsichordist Tatjana Vorobjova began her music studies as a pianist, but a fascination with early music influenced her decision to take up the harpsichord, which she studied in Oslo and Cologne. Her principal teachers were Ketil Haugsand and Hermann Stinders, and she received her master's degree at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. She has performed with several orchestras and chamber ensembles, such as the Sinfonietta Köln, the Neues Rheinisches Chamber Orchestra, and Consortium Musica Sacra Köln, and as the continuo player in Le Parnasse Musical. Over the course of her career, she has played in Germany, Belgium, England, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Vorobjova is a freelance musician, based in Cologne, and she has performed in the Cologne Music Night and the Festival of Early Music. Her Cembalo Cantabile album was released in 2015 on the Amati label.
