Stewart Lindsey is a blues group led by Hollywood-based musician-songwriter-producer Dave Stewart and DeRidder, Louisiana-based singer Thomas Lindsey. Their music features Delta blues-influenced riffs and tunes and is highlighted by Lindsey's high, androgynous vocals. Best known for his work with Annie Lennox in the synth-pop duo Eurythmics, Stewart has also written and produced tracks for several prominent artists, including Mick Jagger, Jon Bon Jovi, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and Roxy Music's Bryan Ferry. Lindsey, on the other hand, had no professional performing experience prior to meeting Stewart. Stewart first became aware of Lindsey when he saw a YouTube video of Lindsey singing a cappella. The video impressed Stewart so much that he invited Lindsey to open for him at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. In 2016, the duo released Stewart Lindsey's debut album Spitballin', which reached number 26 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart.
