Uruguayan Latin pop singer Sergio Facheli began studying music at a local conservatory when he was a child, forming his first rock band, called Trigo Verde, at the age of 16. After touring around South America and coming in first place at Festival del Pacífico, Trigo Verde recorded an album for the first time. Soon, Sergio Facheli decided to leave the band to start playing bass for Spanish star Raphael, later for Camilo Sesto and Brazilian Roberto Carlos. In 1978, Sergio Facheli composed his first song, called "Soñé," making his solo debut album, produced by Rafael Pérez, a year later.
