Described as France's answer to Fat Joe, Sadek is a larger-than-life rapper at the forefront of the new generation of Gallic hip-hop stars. Born and raised in Seine-Saint-Denis, he became a regular face on the region's freestyle rap scene and, after a standout performance at basketball tournament Quai 54, was taken under the wing of event organizer Hamadoun Sidibe. After several years of honing his skills in the studio, he contributed to tracks on DJ Abdel's Evolution ("All Access") and La Fouine's Capitale du Crime, Vol. 3 ("Pendez-Les 2012") before issuing his own first release, La L├ęgende de Johnny Niuuum, a 2012 mixtape that featured collaborations with the likes of Psy 4 de la Rime's Soprano and Young Money Entertainment signee Jae Millz.
