Known as one of the most charismatic Argentinean pop singers, Rodrigo El Potro used to sing at a very young age, dreaming about becoming a music star. A group called Chébere was his first experience in show business; he later joined a band called Manto Negro. Performing a local style known as cuarteto, Rodrigo El Potro started composing his own music at the age of 15, having the opportunity to make his first record in 1987, which was released that same year under the name of La Foto De Tu Cuerpo. After moving from his native Córdoba to Buenos Aires in 1988, Rodrigo El Potro issued his second album called Aprendiendo a Vivir. On his following records, the singer started extending his style to the tropical genre. In 1995, his song "Lo Mejor Del Amor" became his first smash. In the year 2000, at the age of 27, the popular artist passed away after a car accident.
