The traditional music of the Pueblo tribe of northern New Mexico is resurrected by the Garcia Brothers. Accompanying themselves on drums and assorted traditional percussion instruments, the four brothers concentrate on deep vocal tones with no harmonies. Peter Garcia handles most of the lead vocals with Robert playing piano, Raul playing bass and Rudy playing timbales. All four brothers sing background vocals, as well. While much of their repertoire was inherited from their father, Gaa Ts'an, the Garcia Brothers continue to extend the tradition with their original songs.
