CCM singer/songwriter Pam Thum was born the only child of a pair of evangelists, and spent her childhood travelling the globe in their small missionary team. She began composing songs at age 16, eventually settling on a career in music; in 1987, Trace Balim recorded her "We Are an Army," and its success helped earn Thum her own recording contract. Her self-titled debut LP appeared in 1993, followed in 1995 by Faithful; Feel the Healing appeared two years later, and in the spring of 2000, Thum returned with Let There Be.
