Artist Biography by

Gainesville, FL-based alternative pop band Noah's Red Tattoo was formed in 1993 by singer/guitarist Jared Flamm; lineup shifts were common throughout the group's infancy, with the gradual additions of bassist Aaron Carr, guitarist Sam Barnum and drummer Jason Feldman finally cementing the roster. Regular appearances at the Gainesville club the Covered Dish established NRT's large local fanbase, and in 1995 they issued their debut Soapbox Days; in the wake of its 1996 follow-up Radio You, Feldman left the band, which continued on without a permanent drummer until adding Dan Brum upon completion of 1997's Record Low Turnout EP. When both Barnum and Brum exited Noah's Red Tattoo a year later, Carr assumed lead guitar duties, with bassist Devin Moore and drummer Jeff Lataille (both formerly of Gainesville punk-pop faves bloom) signing on for 1999's Heartbreak Traveling Band.
