Nickolai Sheikov is a Bulgarian harpsichordist. He began piano lessons at age 9, then went on to take courses at the L. Pipkov National School of Music in Sofia. In 1999, he moved to Boston, where he enrolled at the New England Conservatory of Music, and switched to studying harpsichord with John Gibbons. Sheikov also took part in master classes with Menno van Delft and Gustav Leonhardt. He has performed as a chamber musician and soloist in the Boston area, and has given concerts with Baroque violinist Benjamin Shute, flutist Andrea Le Blanc, and guitarist Grisha Goryachev.
