Makthaverskan have a dramatic take on indie pop that adds punk attitude and post-punk drama while still being suitably pretty and melodic. Fronted by Maja Milner's speaker-rattling vocals and played with desperate energy by the group, their early works served as a dark rejoinder to the bright, smiling indie pop of Sweden in the early 2010s.
