Along with music written for name revues, Luís Moreira left some successful compositions like "Desiludida," "Súplica," and "Olhos Verdes." Moreira was the conductor of the band at his school and debuted as the choir conductor at the theater Companhia Infantil. Moreira wrote his first score at 15, the operetta "Amores de Psiquê," followed by several others. Moreira had great success with O Jagunço (music written with Paulino Sacramento over libretto by Artur Azevedo). Other successful revues he wrote music for were O Maxixe, Vem Cá, Mulatá, Carnaval no trianon, and A Capital Federal.
