Artist Biography by

Hailing from the Detroit suburb of Livonia, MI, the classic rock revival act Lombardi got their name from professional wrestler Steve Lombardi, who also hails from their hometown. Consisting of Steve Jackson (guitar/vocals), Robert Clay (bass/vocals), Michael Sesick (drums/ vocals), and Ronnie Dattalo (guitar), the quartet started out in 1997 while covering the likes of Credence Clearwater Revival, Bachman Turner Overdrive, and Bad Company. By 1998, Lombardi started writing their own material that looked up to the acts that they covered and soon funded their self-titled debut, CDEP, on Red Tick Records. However, by the time their Rocket Blues album was released in 1999, Lombardi called it quits as Ronnie Dattalo moved on to start the Incognito that same year.
