Folk artist Liz Pagan has produced several amusing albums with her husband Dave Kleiner. Having played guitar since her teens, Pagan was working as a graphic designer in Manhattan when she joined Folk Project, an act Kleiner founded but left to pursue other musical interests. When Kleiner rejoined the act following a stint playing in cover bands, the two soon began to work together with Pagan adding her voice to Kleiner's lyrics. Together the pair have released Rhymes With Diner (1992), Bad Taste (1994), and Salesman (2001). Their music has received national attention on Dr. Demento's radio show, as well as National Public Radio. Additionally, Pagan has continued her graphic design career, contributing her work to Mike Agranoff's 2000 release Modern Folk Musician.
