Spanish heavy metal band Ktulu was formed in the mid-'80s, recording their first album Involución in 1991, followed by 1994's Orden Genético. In addition, the rock act contributed its song "Apocalipsis 250" to Alex de la Iglesia's movie El Día de la Bestia. The group returned with 1997's Confrontación and 1998's El Latido del Miedo. After lineup changes, Carlos Cordoba produced Ktulu's self-titled album in 1999.
