Kings Verses started rock'n'roll life as a Fresno, California combo who had won the local battle of the bands and were looking for bigger pastures, pastures where they could play their own music. They decided to move to Los Angeles and, for a brief moment, were hooked up with all the right people and showcased everywhere while seemingly poised on the brink of stardom. Contracts materialized and all looked to be settling into major group status until the band turned states' evidence against the Los Angeles branch of the Hullabaloo club in a suit with the Musician's Union. Their testimony made them persona non grata and they were immediately blackballed from the entire club circuit and finished in Los Angeles. They disbanded shortly thereafter and headed back to Fresno.
