Kenneth Casey's reputation as a songwriter rests almost entirely on "Sweet Georgia Brown," the 1925 standard he authored with Ben Bernie and Maceo Pinkard. A jazz perennial virtually since its inception, "Sweet Georgia Brown" is also indelibly etched in the memories of basketball fans everywhere as the longtime theme song of the famed Harlem Globetrotters.
