Kennedy Jenson (woodwinds, synthesizer, vocals) and her brother Doug (guitar, vocals) formed Dickens with guitarist/vocalist Ed Johnson in 1976. After adding bassist Albert Blaine and keyboardist/vocalist Charlotte Wiebe, the band became Jenson Interceptor in 1979. Their self-titled debut appeared the following year; Cosmetics was released in 1983.
