Comprised of vocalist Scott Oliva, guitarist Joe Marselle, bassist Justin Hosman, and drummer Frank Todarello, Inner Strength were a thrashy progressive metal band from New York City that first came together in 1989. But, although the quartet was active in one form or another for nearly a decade, Inner Strength released only one album -- 1993's Shallow Reflections -- which earned some praise in prog metal circles, but obviously didn't make them into stars. The group is said to have finally broken up around 1997.
