North London-based ambient dance duo who consist of former Pigbag percussionist/guitarist James Johnstone and Mark Smith. Their first recording, ‘Segun International’, was unveiled on cult New York label Nu Groove Records in 1991 after the duo simply sent them a tape in the post. They followed it with the Dharma Sunburst EP in 1992 for Brainiak. They made an appearance on Positiva Records’ Ambient Collection (‘Digi Out’), as well as releasing ‘Gravity Attack’ on R&S Records. Their other releases have graced imprints like Tomato Records, marking an effective sweep of the very best in international record labels.
