Born and raised in South Carolina, rap-metal artist Infamous Houdene spent his childhood absorbing hip-hop and hardcore albums. He began performing his own material as a teen and played gigs throughout the southeast before relocating to Idaho, where he formed the rap group Dollarz & Dreamz. Performing with the group under the alias Flatline, Houdene honed his writing, rapping and producing skills. After performing with Dollarz & Dreamz at the North By Northwest Music Festival, Houdene moved to L.A. and began working on his solo debut, The Servant Of None, which was released by Southern Manifesto Records in spring 2000.
