Artist Biography by

Forming in Toronto in June of 1996, this group of musicians and friends created a small but loyal following with its sonic landscapes resembling everyone from Jane's Addiction and Portishead to the Cure and My Bloody Valentine. In July 1996, the group began performing outside its rehearsal space and continued performing in and around Ontario. In June 1999, the band released its debut album, Phonic 50mg, which was distributed throughout Canada on Sweet Tooth Recordings. That same year, the group had plum opening slots for Manic Street Preachers, Low, and Super Furry Animals. The group had a change of members during this time as well, but their sound continued to be experimental and strong. In 2002, the band released Majestic, which received acclaim and praise from local media. The group has also appeared on various British compilation albums and performed at Canadian Music Week.
