US melodic rockers Fortnox recorded one rather disappointing, April Wine -influenced album in 1982 before disappearing. Produced by the renowned Chris Tsangarides, the line-up of the band had coalesced to include Joel Shipp (bass, vocals), Rick Fowler (guitar, vocals) and Nathan De Foor (drums) by the time they entered the studio. Though proficient in their instrumental capacities, the group’s songwriting lacked focus and direction. No further recordings were issued as Fortnox were consigned to the rock vaults.
