Formed in the USA in the late 70s, elaborate pomp rock band Fantacy Hill comprised Gerson Migilacio (vocals), Danny Mullins (guitar), George Durbin (guitars), Jose Conrado (bass) and Doug Golema (drums). Despite an inadequate production budget, the group’s 1978 debut album, First Step, was a well-crafted blend of AOR ballads and more punchy, upbeat numbers. The single ‘Unemployment Blues’ was unable to attract much commercial attention. Sadly neither style allowed the group to genuinely assert their identity, and it proved to be the group’s sole release.
