A man who spent over a decade as a singing ringmaster for the Ringling Bros. Circus, Eric Michael Gillett later became one of the brighter stars on the national cabaret circuit, picking up an award as Outstanding Male Vocalist by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets. A frequent member of original casts for shows (including Big City Rhythm), Gillett released his debut solo album, Sing a Rainbow, in 1994. Several years later, Cast of Thousands was issued.
