Enigmas were a little-known group that formed in early 1982 in Canada. Members consisted of lead singer and saxophonist Paul McKenzie, bassist Brian Olinek, guitarist Mike Davies, and drummer Randy Bowman. The band's music is an interesting mixture of pop/rock flavor seasoned with a good dash of psychedelic stylings that were probably left over from the turbulent '60s.
During the four years the Enigmas survived the music scene, the group completed a couple of singles and a lone six-track EP, Strangely Wild. The foursome worked under both the Og Music label and Zulu Records. Though the band's live shows never failed to entertain, by 1986 things came to an end for the members, at least for their parts in the Enigmas.
