Dealership were living proof that one didn't have to know how to play an instruments in order to start a band. Originally starting as a two piece garage outfit, Chris Groves (vocals/bass) and Chris Wetherell (drums/vocals) filled their guitar-less void with Jane Pinckard. Without letting the fact that she never played the guitar before didn't stop Dealerships line-up from settling in 1998. Eventually representing a sloppy sense of 60's garage and lo-fi indie-pop to their native San Francisco, the trio soon released their debut EP Secret American Livingroom in 1998 on their own.
