After attending ballet, acting, and music classes at a very young age, Puerto Rican Daniela Droz began working as a fashion model, playing roles in different local soap operas before becoming a tropical music star. Cosas de Mujeres became her debut album in 1999 and a song called "Dama de Hierro" was her first hit single. Tomame Amame followed in September 2001, featuring a duet with Limi-T XXl's Angel Ramiro Matos on her first composition, a romantic song titled "Por Tu Amor."
