A British singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Dan Croll combines folk elements and classic Paul Simon-like melodies with electronic beats, African polyrhythms, and guitar hooks, giving his work a lot of varying sounds and dimensions. Croll garnered immediate acclaim for his 2014, Top 30-charting U.K. debut, Sweet Disarray, and his 2017 follow-up Emerging Adulthood. Born in 1990 in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, Croll grew up in Trentham where he became interested in music after suffering a rugby accident in his teens. At age 18, he moved to Liverpool to attend the Paul McCartney-founded Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
