Cooper Boone

Country artist Cooper Boone was born in Wells, MN, and raised in St. Joe by his parents, both teachers. He learned to play piano and trumpet as a child, but pursued a career in clinical psychology, obtaining a doctorate and starting a practice in New York City. He also co-owns a country store in upstate New York, has a chicken farm in Pennsylvania, and hosts an online cooking show called Cowboy Kitchen. Still, he maintained a dream of being a country singer/songwriter and finally managed to get connections to co-write songs in Nashville, TN. He self-released his CDs Dance in the Wind (2006) and Made in America (2008) before signing to Green Rooster Records for his formal debut, Cooper Boone, issued on August 4, 2009.
