Contraband is a short-lived supergroup showcasing obscure vocalist Richard Black from Shark Island, Vixen Share Pedersen on bass, and RattBobby Blotzer on the skins. The redoubtable twin-axe-attack of Michael Schenker and Tracii Guns round out this powerhouse, heaved into the hair market by a hungry label. Excepting a flurry of radio play for driving sizzler "All the Way From Memphis," the quintet's lone effort promptly disappeared. This lost debut is not a bad bit of poodleheaded tomfoolery, but nothing more.
