Colin Dale differentiated himself from the countless other DJs working in London by affiliating himself with radio mix shows. Most notably, he hosted his weekly Abstrakt Dance show on London's KISS FM. His mixes are usually quite eclectic and tend to be seen as trend-setting and forward-looking. Unlike most London DJs of the time, who mostly championed either progressive house, garage, or drum'n'bass, Dale championed house and techno. In the early 2000s, he recorded mix shows for Groovetech, an Internet radio show.
