Graphic designer Chris Connor, his surname sometimes slightly expanded into a plural Connors, should not be confused with the sultry big-band singer of the same name, whose name also tends to suffer the same fate. Since the '90s, the visual artist Connor has consolidated a hefty series of credits related to world music collections. In 1996 alone he was involved with more than a dozen releases, hopping around the globe for subjects ranging from Finland to Africa to the Caribbean.
