Dutch production team Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo comprises DJ Charly Lownoise (born Ramon Roelofs in 1968) from the Hague and DJ Menthal Theo (born Theo Nabuurs in 1965) from Den Bosch. The happy hardcore duo met while spinning turntables at the Spanish island of Mallorca. After becoming a huge success in the Dutch underground scene Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo started climbing German charts with "Live at London," and issuing "Wonderful Days," in 1995 after signing up with PolyGram even when they decided to keep on releasing their vinyl records on Charly Lownoise's Master Maximum label. That same year Charlottenburg became their first album. Old School Hardcore and On Air followed in 1996. The 10-track record Kiss Your Sweet Ears Goodbye came two years later.
