Upon the demise of the Sydney indie outfit Front End Loader, bassist Richard Corey and drummer Peter Kostic got together with former You Am I guitarist Greg Hitchcock and former Kryptonics front man Ian Underwood in 1994. Assembled as the power-pop outfit Challenger 7, the group released a six song EP immediately recorded even before the group even played their first show.
