Artist Biography by

The ex-lead singer, organist, and percussionist for French trash rock band No Talents, Cecilia Meneau was inspired by American girl groups of the mid-'60s to form the pop quartet Cecilia et Ses Ennuis. Although they remain tied to their home base in Paris, the band has increasingly reached out to a wider audience. Their performance at Wild Weekend 2000 was one of the high points of the British pop festival. Recording 11 songs in April 2000, Cecilia et Ses Ennuis released their debut album, Mon Engin D'Enfer a few months later. The group has also released three EPs.
