The musical traditions of Sweden are reflected in the music of multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer Anders Stake (born: Anders Norudde). A founding member, along with lute, hurdy-gurdy, and e-fiddle player Hallbus Totte Mattsson and percussionist Bjorn Tollin, of Nordic folk ensemble Hedningarna, Stake wrote most of the group's material. Stake has also frequently collaborated with Swedish bagpipe player Bia Bergens Borduner. A skilled luthier, Stake designed and built all the instruments played by Hedningarna.
