It might appear difficult to understand how Kraftwelt, Spahn Ranch, Transmutator and Astralasia can make it on an album titled The World's Greatest Club Collection, though just about anything can happen on discs released by the new-school industrial label Cleopatra. Surprisingly, there are some genuine club classics here (at least in alternative dance circles), like "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" by Dead or Alive, "What's on Your Mind (Pure Energy)" by Information Society, "Cars" by Gary Numan, "I Want Candy" by Bow Wow Wow, and others by Future Sound of London, Heaven 17, 808 State (remixed by Propellerheads) and Keoki. At least half of the contributions, however, are barely even worthy of consideration.
