A strong record of mostly traditional-style country, which only slows down when it dips down into contemporary country-pop. When the Wood Brothers stick to the fiddles, banjos, and fancy picking of "Alcohol of Fame," "Stranger Things Have Happened," and "Shelly's Winter Love," the album is thoroughly enjoyable.
