One of two Contemporary LPs recorded by pianist Jimmy Rowles (who sings "I'm Getting Nowhere With You") with bassist Red Mitchell and drummer Colin Bailey during a two-day period in 1985 (neither have yet been reissued on CD). This date has two standards ("The Thrill Is Gone" and "Yesterdays"), two long-forgotten tunes, and a couple of then-recent numbers by Rowles and bassist Larry Gales. The pianist's daughter Stacy guests on trumpet or flugelhorn on three of the songs, giving variety to the subtle yet occasionally surprising music.
