Both of the band's two LPs are combined onto one CD on this reissue, with the addition of extra material. The comprehensive liner notes by producer Mike Hurst are a welcome addition. But there seems to be no ready answer as to why; in the space of a 12-page booklet, there are no indications as to which song comes from which album. And although the cover boasts "two original albums on one CD -- plus three bonus tracks," there are also no indications as to which of these 20 songs are bonus tracks, and whether they were unreleased, non-LP singles, or what. All that aside, it's a definitive document of the work of an average, white blues-funk hard rock band who managed to get a couple of American Top 20 hits by happenstance.
