A compilation of soul recordings from 1966-1967, running the gamut from Toussaint McCall's deep soul classic "Nothing Takes the Place of You" to more elaborate productions such as Dionne Warwick's "I Say a Little Prayer". Other highlights include Motown offerings from the Elgins, Brenda Holloway, and the Marvelettes, as well as soft soul from Brenda & the Tabulations and Peaches & Herb. An apt title for a collection of winning tracks that will bring back fond memories.
