Whiskey Falls debut is a gumbo of country fixins and everything fun about country music. Featuring Buck Johnson, Seven Williams, Damon Johnson, and Wally Brandt, Whiskey Falls is a band with tight four-part harmonies, apt songwriting, and over the top musicianship, giving a face to a band crammed with studio and performance vets. Cuts like "Last Train Running" and "Highway 59" have musical heft, boosting the disc's radio strength, while tunes like "Working Man" and "Let the Whiskey Fall" drip with beer joint swagger. Whiskey Falls is a steel link chain with four lead vocalists who can all legitimately take the mic. With Eaglesque harmonies relevant throughout, this stellar country platter is country, rock, and blues galore.
