AllMusic Review by

The Caulfields evoke Britain's late-'70s/early-'80s New Wave obsession with frenzied, Americanized pop. The four-piece calls on all the spit and spirit of early skinny-tie types like Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, Graham Parker, Any Trouble, The Yachts, and The Jags, but with chunky, more contemporary guitar backing. Vocalist John Faye serves up lyrics as introspective and substantive as his delivery is aggressive.
