On We All Get Lucky Sometimes, Lee Roy Parnell tempers his mixture of country, R&B, blues, and rock & roll somewhat with a subdued production, designed to attract the attention of country radio. Even when his music is slightly tamed, Parnell turns in a fine effort, filled with enough true grit to satisfy his fans.
