This Christmas collection from the German label Wave is a refined set of smooth jazz and adult contemporary. There are no surprises here, just tasteful performances perfect as light, seasonably themed background music. Highlights include Jaci Velasquez's jazz vocal rendition of "I'll Be Home for Christmas," Vince Gill showing his range with a contemplative, piano-tinged take on "Christmas Song," and guitarist Marc Antoine's interpretation of "What Child Is This."
