Capture the Flag's Walking Away From Everything is a typical fast, poppy punk rock album that would seem to be typical of what would appeal to the younger generation. However, the vocals are unique and corroborate well with the musical structure, like few punk releases seem capable of. Also, there are extra bonuses such as metal-influenced guitar solos and a little crustiness to boot. Unfortunately, the layout it horrendous (black on white is a little passé) and much of the sound while good for what it is, isn't anything that the average punk fan hasn't heard before.
