Originally released on VHS in 1985, DIANA: THE VISIONS OF DIANA ROSS contains six music videos from that era. Although by the mid-'80s Miss Ross was coming to the end of her long and storied stint as the first lady of Motown, she was still enough of a major figure to warrant the best video artists of the time, including director Bob Giraldi, who had made several masterpiece videos for Michael Jackson. The highlight is "Missing You," a tender tribute to the recently murdered Marvin Gaye that includes vintage footage of the man himself.
